Termička obrada

U direktnoj vezi sa pitanjem novih izvora energije je termička obrada otpada i mulja koja može biti veoma pouzdano i na terenu provereno rešenje.

Trijaža kućnog otpada i izdvajanje delova organskog porekla koji se može reciklirati omogućava da se proizvede kompost za koji je karakteristično da daljom obradom oslobađa toplotu. Stoga, može se zaključiti da kompost može imati ulogu u proizvodnji električne energije ili toplote.

Mulj koji je nastao iz procesa prečišćavanja otpadnih voda dalje u procesu termičke obrade može da se proizvede u đubrivo.
