Organic treatment

Recovering and reusing the organic fraction of any waste is now a vital part of the waste treatment process.
GIRUS’ engineers were pioneers in this area and participated actively in the development of “biological” recovery and reuse techniques.
GIRUS now draws on the lessons learned from several generations of organisation schemes and facilities, to design the solution best geared to the specific requirements of each region.
Collection at source or otherwise, simple or sophisticated mechanical separation, or organic treatment and waste-to-energy techniques: GIRUS works closely with its clients to examine all the potential combinations of solutions to select those that satisfy their regional, statutory and financial requirements.
